Thank you for reading and listening💛 I like to make poetry an experience, but am limited on-line. Otherwise, there’d be decorations, photos, and specific foods. lol.
Loved this deeply. The wild honeysuckle as tongues of fire, freedom, childhood wandering and a little dangerous holiness resonates so much with the misty, chaotic, sacred wildness I explore in NebelNexus. ‘I gathered sweetness without permission’ — what a line. Beautiful work.
You've beautifully captured how the names we give the wilderness are never just about botany, but about remembering the fierce, unpermitted ways we find our own freedom ✨
This was amazing, your reading of it drew me in immediately there is something about listening to a poet read their own work. You brought it to life! A little dangerous a little holy, I will certainly listen to this again
“It was never / just a flower” quietly holds the entire poem together.
I loved how the piece lets history, childhood, language, sweetness, danger, and memory all remain inside the same living thing without forcing them apart. “Enough to make power nervous” was a beautiful ending.
Gorgeous reading! I love the music behind the reading it adds depth!

Thank you for reading with such care. I think too often we like things neatly categorized, including people. 💛
